Our People

Windridge Farms employs more than 60 highly skilled and committed staff.  They are professionals in their fields and are passionate about what they do.

They come from as far away as Harden, Boorowa, Cootamundra, Hay, Scotland, the Philippines and Ukraine – just about everywhere in the world.

Our staff are valuable and are a major contributor to the success of the business.  Windridge’s longest serving staff member has been with the company for over 35 years.

Education and Training

Windridge Farms encourages and supports our staff to further their education.

At any time we might have 10 trainees doing a Certificate 3 in Agriculture.  We also “on-the-job” training for staff who wish to learn a variety of skills from clerical to welding and fabrication, and animal husbandry.

Community Involvement

Windridge Farms is dedicated to supporting the local community.

We offer a variety of employment opportunities. The business employs approximately 60 full time staff from livestock and farming operators to tractor drivers, maintenance and clerical staff. We also support large number of local contractors, including truck drivers, electricians, builders, plumbers, earthmovers, agronomists, stock and station agents, cafes, IT specialists, mechanics, hardware stores, chemists, steel manufacturers, roofers, fencers and more.

Local grain is also secured to supply the Piggery Feed Mill.

Windridge Farms is also active in supporting many local community groups including Young Lions Soccer Club, Young Yabbies Rugby Union Club, Young Society of Artists, Margaret House, Young Pony Club, Young High School, St Marys Primary School, Young Public School, the Country Education Fund and more.  The support includes both involvement and donations.

We are very proud to be a part of the Young community.
